Leather care

I've finally found products that I am happy to carry here in the leather shop. The folks at Bee Seal are right over the border from me in Canada and do an excellent job of making leather conditioner, saddle soap, and polishes that are local and are all natural (more on this in an upcoming video!).

They use beeswax and oils to make their products. If you have one of my sling, you already see my own bees wax that I burnish the edges with. I keep a bunch of hives for this very reason (and free honey).

All the products work well, I run the polish on the slings and my Sunday-go-to-meeting dress shoes and my boots all have a nice slathering of the conditioner. 

I highly recommend the conditioner a sole go-to product for leather. It replaces the oils that are lost during sling/boot/shoe use and make your leather water repellent as well. A little goes a long way, it applies nicely and smells great too. ProTip: It works great on wood as well, I use it on the hardwood tool handles in my leather shop.
